I’ve turned the new 40 and decided to follow one of my creative muses. As someone who still draws stick figures with great difficulty, that muse is a creative writer. I love reading mysteries, so I’m trying my hand at writing them. This blog is a good parking place for all the other random thoughts that infest my head. I’ve lived in the Nashville, TN area since 2005 and love it! Nashville isn’t just country music, although I did enjoy talking to Brenda Lee at the hair dresser’s, and sitting at a table next to George Jones in Cracker Barrel. And I like Taylor Swift. In addition to writing, I also tend the flower beds around my home and play the part of a crazy cat lady. Barbara, Charlie, and Oliver are my precious furballs. We have a wonderful catsitter who loves my babies more than I do, which makes it easy for my husband and me to travel on a whim. I hope you enjoy my ramblings. Feel free to subscribe or comment.

Hi Mary– great thoughts here. I’m enjoying catching up with (meeting?) family.
Funny thing about that. The last time I remember seeing you was in your grandparents’ backyard after their 50th wedding anniversary party. We played croquet in the dark.
